Characterized by small clusters of pear-shaped, beaked, roughened, brown spores (conidia) borne on short, branched or simple conidiophores. Usually occurring as an "accessory form" at the synnematal bases and surrounding hyphae of Doratomyces stemonitis. Fairly common on dung, soil, and plant debris. Holomorph unknown. Ref: Hennebert 1968
